When Do Preorders Start?
Rockstar Games has announced that official GTA 6 preorders begin on June 25, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Watch for verified links from Rockstar, the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, and trusted physical retailers. Avoid any unauthorized websites or third-party listings claiming to sell preorder codes, beta access, or early access.
Where to Preorder Safely
To avoid preorder scams, start with the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or the Rockstar Store links in Rockstar's official preorder guide. Other retailers can be useful when their exact platform, edition, country and checkout path are confirmed. The boxed Standard Edition contains a download code, not a disc; Rockstar has not announced a boxed Collector's Edition.
Preorder Price Guarantees
Retailer preorder price policies differ by seller, country and listing. Check the retailer's current terms before ordering; do not assume an automatic price guarantee or refund. Keep a copy of the order terms and confirm whether the box contains a download code.
